For on the go professionals, Peli Products has introduced the iM2435 Peli Storm Case. Designed as a rolling office or tool/photography equipment caddy, the iM2435 fits in overhead compartments of a selection of airlines and is available with an optional “mobile office” file kit that features a lid organiser and a customisable padded divider set that will accommodate a 15.6 inch laptop. Also available as an optional accessory is the TSA Accepted PeliLock, which airport personnel, who all have special access keys, won’t need to cut for security inspections.
Boasting 26 Liters of possible storage space, the iM2435 features a top loading design that gives immediate, easy access to its contents. Additionally, there are moulded-in feet that give the case stability when it’s upright and full. Standard features include stainless steel, ball-bearing, polyurethane wheels; an extra-long, telescoping, metal handle for easy transport; and recessed rubberised top grip for easy stacking and maximum comfort. The case also features integrated padlock protectors for added defense against cutting and theft.
Like all Peli Storm Cases, the iM2435’s high-performance HPX polymer construction helps it protect sensitive equipment from some of the harshest conditions on Earth. It also features extremely strong press and pull latches to ensure that the case stays secure in rough situations. Additional features include a lid equipped with a polymer o-ring for a dust and watertight seal, and an automatic pressure equalisation Vortex valve, that stops moisture from entering the case and prevents vacuum-lock so the case opens easily at any altitude. The iM2435 completes a line of top-loading-type Peli travel cases which includes the 1430 and 1440 Cases.
