Flue gas analyzer

A compact portable flue gas analyzer that can monitor up to nine different gases and 17 measurement parameters has been introduced by Land Instruments. The analyzer weighs only 6 kg and is housed in a single robust enclosure for ease of use and reliability in harsh boiler and stack environments. A widescreen high color display allows ease of use, and USB communication allows easy transfer of data to a PC or memory stick. Multiple languages are supported. Nine gas measurements include: CO(Low), CO(High),O2, CO2, NO, NO2, SO2, H2S and Total Hydrocarbons. Key measurements include combustion efficiency, excess air, oxygen normalization, loss and total NOx. A wide range of sample probe types and lengths are available to accommodate many different measurements and assure that they are taken at the optimal position within the stack. The analyzer is very simple to operate: turn it on, connect the probe and begin taking measurements. An advanced sample conditioning system assures high accuracy and 0.1 ppm measurement resolution. Dual rechargeable batteries provide up to eight hours of continuous use. A built-in remote communication capability allows the analyzer to be upgraded in the field when application requirements change.
