Schneider Electric released the Tricon CX compact system for safety and critical control applications.
The new system will primarily serve the oil and gas, power, refining, chemicals, pharmaceutical and biotech industries, where safety and reliability are critical.
The ISA Secure certified Tricon CX is the world's first functional safety and security certified system (by TÜV Rheinland), aimed at helping protect against external threats such as cyber-attack, whilst ensuring operational integrity and protecting against inherent risk and hazards. The Tricon CX is designed to be smaller, faster, lighter, more compact and more powerful than previous safety solutions.
