The Valve World Expo is a biennial event that has been held in Düsseldorf since 2010. This international trade fair and convention for industrial valves and fittings showcases a sector of the industry which warrants good potential growth in the future. Valves and fittings are used in a wide variety of different industries: to ensure safety in the oil and gas industry, channel liquids and gases in the chemical industry, regulate incoming and outgoing water and ensure a free flow of liquid in the drinks industry.

This is clearly a good reason to hold further regional events in the USA and Asia. The combination of a trade fair and conference has so far proved its worth in all three places.

VALVE WORLD EXPO: December 2014, Düsseldorf (Germany)

The last December took place the third edition of the international trade fair and convention for industrial valves and fittings, Valve World Expo, held in Düsseldorf, Germany. To meet the rising demand among exhibitors, a further exhibition hall was added to the event. 665 companies from 40 countries occupied a total space of about 18,000 square metres.

During the trade fair, were showcased the latest technologies in valves, valve-related products and components, actuators, position controllers, compressors, engineering services and software as well as industry associations and publishing companies. In all, 12,500 trade visitors came to Düsseldorf on the three days of the tradeshow.

The event was held in parallel with the Pump Summit where about 30 exhibitors from Italy, UK, Germany, China and the United States introduced innovative technologies, components and systems for pumps and seals.

Pumps must be safe and reliable in conveying solid, liquid and gaseous media as they are used in a wide range of different industries. Both the trade fair and the conference focused on specific markets: water and wastewater, facility management, food and beverages, mining, the chemical industry, oil and gas, the power industry, the pharmaceutical industry, shipbuilding, pulp and paper as well as engineering and contracting. www.valveworldexpo.de or www.valveworldexpo.com. Next Valve World Expo will be held in Düsseldorf from November 29 until December, 1, 2016.

VALVE WORLD EXPO AMERICAS: July 2015, Houston (USA)

After two successful events the Valve World Expo Americas will soon be held for the third time in Houston (US) on 15th and 16th July 2015. 150 exhibitors from the United States, Asia, Canada, India, Mexico and Europe will be presenting the latest technologies, components and systems from the wide-ranging area of industrial valves and fittings.

The trade fair will be accompanied by a comprehensive conference programme. The latest details of the trade fair and the conference are available at the following web address: www.valveworldexpoamericas.com.

VALVE WORLD EXPO ASIA : September 2015, Suzhou (China)

Valve World Expo Asia will be held in Suzhou (China) on 23th and 24th September 2015. Experts from all over the world will meet at the Suzhou International Expo Centre to learn about new industrial valves and fittings for use in oil and gas, the (petro-) chemical industry, power generation and process engineering. Here, too, the trade fair and the accompanying conference will be closely related in content. Further details can be found on the web portal, at www.valve-world.net.

The growing family of the international flow technology trade fairs also includes the world's biggest tradeshow for pipes and tubes, Tube Düsseldorf, as well as regional events in Moscow, Russia (Tube Russia), Sao Paulo, Brazil (TUBOTECH), Bangkok, Thailand (Tube Southeast ASIA), Shanghai, China (Tube China), Mumbai, India (Tube India) as well as NEFTEGAZ in Moscow, Russia.
