Banner Engineering Belgium BVBA
This year's IEN Europe Award went to Banner Engineering for the iVu vision sensor, an image processing system with an integrated touchscreen. It may be used in a variety of different applications that formerly required extensive parameterization, like code inspection in the pharmaceutical industry, label detection in the chemical industry or the detection of welding nuts in the automotive sector. Thanks to its intuitive graphical user interface, even inexperienced users can install and teach the vision sensor in no time at all – without the aid of a personal computer. All inspection routines and camera settings can be adjusted on-site using the menu-driven software.
