The Rotary Pressure Valve is a variant of the Rotary Valve and is designed for process applications where the treated product is particularly aggressive, not compatible with the material used for the construction of the sealing element (seal) in the presence of solvents during the cycle or during the wash cycle (CIP / SIP).
The valve is made of a monoblock body where the interceptor element is held in place thanks to suitable plastic material holders (FDA), which keep the rotor centered on the valve body.
This variant is not different from the main features of the Rotary Valve as, easy disassembly, easy cleaning etc. ... But allows it to be installed in environments where the working cycle is very stressful for common rotary valves.
Its particular construction guarantees:
- Resistance to 3 bar internal / external pressure
- Internal / external vacuum
- Holds up to 1.5 bar during the SIP phase with a maximum temperature of 121 °
- Holds up to 6 bar during the CIP phase
- Metal / Metal version without risk of contamination

- Spare parts minimized, allowing the valve to be used continuously, eliminating dead maintenance maintenance times.
The body is in AISI 316L satined, for standard version or mirror polished upon request.
The rotor is composed from six lobes, but it is customizable in number and volumes according to customer requirements. It performs an alternating rotating motion of 180 ° clockwise and counterclockwise, with the possibility of adjusting the rotation speed and the stop time between the rotation and the other by means of a control panel.
All material used for product construction is controlled, selected and certified by CO.RA. Qualified, to ensure compliance with GMP standards to customers. In this regard, the company issues certificates 3.1 and FDA.
It is also suitable for installation in Atex Zone 0/20 internal and external outdoor areas.
