Gear couplings are essential for drive applications under harsh conditions, such as in the steel, cement, and mining industries, as well as in the oil and gas industry. With the new N-ZAPEX coupling series, Flender is expanding its coupling portfolio with a series designed to deliver economic benefits over the entire lifecycle. With high torque density and great displacement capacities, a new standard for gear couplings is being set. The N-ZAPEX is available in two versions, XN and XW, each designed to meet different customer requirements.

higher efficiency, lower mantenance efforts

The XN variant stands for standardization and reduced complexity, as well as an excellent cost-benefit ratio for smaller sizes. Reusable components, the highest misalignment capacities and bore diameters in their class, and simplified installation make the N-ZAPEX XN ideal for users prioritizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The XW version is the gear coupling for large sizes. Its extreme power density, wide range of variants, and exceptional modularity offer users maximum performance and flexibility. With up to 10 million Nm of torque, optimal durability, and ease of service and installation, N-ZAPEX XW is the solution for the most demanding industrial challenges. The patented Hollow-O-Ring sealing concept consists of a continuous rubber hose. It enables high misalignment capacity, quick replacement without special tools, and reduces maintenance effort.

The misalignment compensation capacities in the XN- series are 60% higher and in the XW series 30% higher than those of the previous series. The compact design and low weight of both versions enable straightforward installation and maintenance as well as efficient spare parts management.
