The use of glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) in pressurized water pipes allows high internal pressures to be absorbed. These GFRP pipes are used, among other things, in water treatment and seawater desalination plants. Dynexa manufactures them in standard dimensions of 8 and 10 inches, as well as in customer-specific special dimensions. By individually adjusting the wall thickness, the pipes can be designed and produced to match exactly the internal pressure that occurs.
The water pipes are used efficiently due to their low running costs: The smooth surface is easy and quick to clean and a longer cleaning interval is advantageous for the reduction of cleaning costs. They are lightweight, can be installed faster and by fewer personnel. Due to the corrosion resistance of GFRP the application requires little maintenance.
