The Stepamatic patented rotary level control by Synatel, incorporates a Stepper motor directly coupled to the paddle eliminating the need for gearboxes, clutches and spring loaded mechanisms making the unit virtually indestructible.
The direct drive also allows rotation in both directions to avoid material compaction and has an adjustable torque control to allow a single paddle to suit all applications. A novel paddle design allows the probe to be inserted via a standard 1” BSP fitting and the probe is available with wire rope extensions up to 2 metres long.
The rotary level control carries zone 20 ATEX approval and can operate on 24Vdc or 90-260V ac supplies. It provides a relay output and is suitable for high or low fail safe operation. An adjustable 0-60 second time delay is also provided.
