The ‘plug and play’ wireless temperature sensor for rough test stand operation is designed for supervision of critical temperatures of devices. The temperature sensor is robust, simple to handle and offers a 6 month battery life. The sensor is mounted at the measuring point via a clamp. The integrated sensor measures the temperature of the device’s surface and transmits the data to the receiving unit via radio transmission. The measuring range for this method is -40 to 120°C. For very high temperature measurements a standard thermocouple can be attached. The sampling rate of the sensors is programmable with 1s as default.
