The Model 200 3x non-Browning zoom lens from Resolve Optics has been designed specifically for use in the nuclear industry. Operating at f /2.8 this space efficient zoom lens provides high image resolution, a close focus and minimum geometric distortion from 400-750nm. Special cerium doped glass is used in Model 200 zoom lenses to avoid browning or discoloration when exposed to radiation. They are available as manual and motorised versions.
Precision zoom control
Using a Model 200 lens, nuclear engineers can image objects from 50mm to infinity without using add-on adapters. When focused at infinity, the lens achieves high image resolution at full aperture throughout the zoom range without refocusing. The lens is designed for use with Newvicon and Chalnicon tubes as well as CMOS cameras.
