The prize, worth 10,000 euros, is open to individuals and development teams with innovative and economically relevant solutions. In addition, the AMA Association awards the “Young Company” Special Prize to companies that have been on the market for no more than five years, employ fewer than 50 people, and have annual revenue of no more than 10 million euros. The winning team will receive a free exhibition booth at SENSOR+TEST 2027. The deadline for submissions is January 27, 2027.

“We invite you to submit your forward-looking ideas in the fields of sensor technology and measurement technology and to present them to an international audience of experts at SENSOR+TEST 2027,” says Klaus Drese of Coburg University, chairman of the jury. “Established companies and startups alike have the opportunity to reach a broad audience of experts from research and industry simply by being nominated.”

The AMA Innovation Award has been presented for 27 years and recognizes achievements in development, regardless of the company or institution involved. The jury evaluates scientific quality, the degree of innovation, and market prospects.

The nominations and the winner of the “Young Company” Special Award will be announced at the AMA press conference on March 3, 2027. The award ceremony will take place during the opening ceremony of SENSOR+TEST 2027 in Nuremberg. All nominated teams will present their innovations to an international audience of industry professionals there.
