The enhancement and evolution to the highly successful XYR 6000 wireless transmitter enables users to choose the wireless protocol best suited to their specific process automation applications.
With its multi-protocol-capable OneWireless Network infrastructure, Honeywell is the first to support the two leading industrial wireless protocols – ISA100 Wireless and WirelessHART – giving customers more flexibility when implementing wireless systems. The SmartLine Wireless Pressure transmitter allows plants to use wireless for control, and seamlessly integrates with Honeywell’s best-in-class Experion control system.
Honeywell’s OneWireless Network and SmartLine Wireless Pressure solutions offer significant performance and cost advantages for both current and new users of industrial wireless technology by providing a robust wireless network with increased power, faster update rates, reduced infrastructure requirements and wider deployment options. They incorporate additional noise reduction to improve performance in control applications. Utilizing long-life commodity batteries makes them reliable, alternatively they can be operated off 24-volt power in the field.
Honeywell designed its wireless system to allow customers to install a single high-performance network for process monitoring with the flexibility to add more critical applications, like control, if and when they are ready.
