Invensys and Axens

Invensys Operations Management announced that it has entered into a partnership with Axens, an international provider of technologies, products and services to the refining, petrochemical, gas and alternative fuels markets. Under the terms of the agreement, Axens, based in Rueil-Malmaison, France, will become a sub-licensor of Invensys Operations Management’s SimSci-Esscor PRO/II software, a steady-state process simulator used to design, analyze and improve chemical processes.

“This partnership will reinforce our presence in the worldwide petrochemical and refining industries, providing users of Axens’ web-based process operations simulator solution—webPOS—with the highest level of optimized technology,” said Tobias Scheele, vice president, advanced applications, Invensys Operations Management. “As partners, Axens will embed our PRO/II simulation software into its customized webPOS, outfitting it for steady-state simulation that will help customers achieve productivity excellence.”
