REMBE’s wide-ranging product line-up of signalling devices for specialists in explosion protection and process safety has now been enhanced even further by the addition of NIMU (Non-Invasive Monitoring Unit).
Being non-invasive in its monitoring method for bursting discs NIMU provides reliable information about the way a bursting disc responds to positive and negative pressure.
NIMU is attached within a blind hole in the bursting disc holder, thus isolating it from the process medium. The unit can easily be serviced and replaced without opening the pipeline. This signalling method is particularly suited for critical processes and applications which require the entire system to be completely impermeable.
NIMU can be integrated into an existing process control system, using terminal boxes and isolating amplifiers. Moreover, it meets all certification and zoning requirements.
