The fifth edition of La Giornata del Distributore – the event held every two years organized by FNDI in collaboration with TIMGlobal Media and Confindustria Federvarie, with the magazine Il Distributore Industriale as Media Partner – closed its doors with everyone’s satisfaction.
In the context of the prestigious Alfa Romeo Museum of Arese (20 km away from Milan), about 100 participants attended the conference that aims to be a content-oriented event and to offer many points of interest: impact of digitalization, e-commerce, funnel marketing and industry 4.0 are only some of the topics that caught people’s attention.
After the welcome speech of Alessandro Ariu, Communication Manager of FNDI, Cristian Son, Marketing Manager of the Federation, delivered his keynote. Paolo Mambretti, President of FNDI, illustrated the opportunities and advantages guaranteed by FNDI membership, and thanked the Curator of the Museum, Lorenzo Ardizio, for the hospitality. After that, Orhan Erenberk, President of TIMGlobal Media, gave a picture of the national and international activities of the publishing house that organized the event.
The first part of the conference got to the heart of the topic with the accounts of Ciro Rapacciuolo and Daniela Corsaro. The first one, economist of the Centro Studi Confindustria, took stock of the situation from an industrial and economic point of view, certifying the positivity of the economic situation in Italy. Daniela Corsaro, Associate Marketing Professor at IULM University, took floor with a speech about criticality and developments of the Industrial Distribution market, presenting a survey made on Distributors.
The two speeches that followed were delivered by Michele Tampieri and Stefano Loreti. Tampieri, Online Marketing Expert for Lead Generation Italia, explained the techniques of funnel marketing, highlighting how industrial distributors could best use them. Loreti, Industrial Manufacturing Marketing Manager at UPS Italia, investigated current dynamics and perspectives of digital commerce in the b2b world.
After lunch, it was the time for the guided visit of Alfa Romeo Museum. Participants were involved in a virtual trip throughout the history of this prestigious car manufacturer house. At the end of the visit, the conference started again with an interesting debate among manufacturers, distributors and Maintenance Managers.
