PROCENTEC recently celebrated its twentieth anniversary. Since its founding in 1997, PROCENTEC has grown from a small support company, knowledge partner in the field of PROFIBUS and PROFINET technology, to an internationally recognized manufacturer of innovative solutions that ensure that its customers successfully operate in the world of industrial automation.
Through years, PROCENTEC celebrated several successes. In 2003, the company released its first product: the ProfiTrace toolkit. This product allowed users to test their networks before they were implemented. The ProfiTrace toolkit proved to be a powerful tool for troubleshooting and maintenance of PROFIBUS networks and it made PROCENTEC a leading company in this field.
Later, PROCENTEC started manufacturing components such as the ProfiHub family, which helps create the most reliable network infrastructure on the market today, and ComBricks, a permanent monitoring, networking and control solution for PROFIBUS and PROFINET. Recently PROCENTEC added Atlas, the vision on the future of Industrial Ethernet diagnostics, to its portfolio.
PROCENTEC does not only manufacture products, it also provides technical support at locations worldwide. Furthermore, the company offers vendor independent training courses for PROFIBUS and PROFINET. Up to now, more than 4.000 participants have received a certificate. PROCENTEC is an internationally accredited Competence Center and runs one of the eight accredited test laboratories for the certification of PROFIBUS devices.
Nowadays, PROCENTEC has over fifty employees working at its headquarters in Wateringen. It has also successfully opened offices in Germany and Italy.
