The MK502A T-slot cylinder sensors for ATEX Namur applications complement the ifm range of cylinder sensors for pneumatic cylinders. The wear-free and robust sensor is certified for the ATEX categories 1G/1D (zones 0/20), developed to the EN 60947-5-6 standard and offers IP 65/67 protection. The sensors offer the following advantages: self-locking mechanism, strain relief, easy single-handed installation, clearly visible LED display for the switching status. With the range of accessories, these sensors can be fixed to common T-slot, tie rod, integrated profile or trapezoidal slot cylinders. In addition to the sensors, the company offers a wide range of switching amplifiers. It is suited for ambient temperature of -25 to 70°C for applications in silo hatches, elevators, mills or conveying technology.
